2026-2027 Season

Players entering 9th-12th grade from Riverside-Brookfield High School, IC Catholic Prep, Nazareth Academy, Proviso Math & Science Academy, St. Laurence High School, St. Patrick High School, Jones College Prep, Wolcott College Prep, Lake View High School, Kenwood Academy, De La Salle Institute, and Von Steuben. 

The North Stars Hockey Club season begins with player evaluations at the end of August. Following team selections, league play starts in September and continues throughout the season, concluding with the North Central League playoffs in February.

All practices will be held at The Edge Ice Arena in Bensenville. The North Stars will also host all home games at The Edge.

Our home game time slots are scheduled for:

• Sundays 7:10 pm - 8:40 PM
• Mondays 7:20 pm - 8:55 PM

Fall schedule will be released by the league.

Junior Varsity Practices:

Tuesday: 8:40 PM – 9:50 PM

Thursday: 7:20 PM – 8:20 PM

Varsity Practices:

Tuesday: 8:40 PM – 9:50 PM

Wednesday: 8:00 PM – 9:10 PM

Goalie Development:

A dedicated Goalie Coach will be on the ice every Tuesday during practice to provide specialized instruction for all goalies.

Practice will be held at the Edge in Bensenville.

The North Stars Hockey Club season includes 22+ league games, along with North Central League playoffs and at least two tournament.

For the tournament, which will most likely be a travel tournament, giving players the opportunity to compete against teams from outside our local area.

All North Stars Hockey Club players are required to have the following equipment and team apparel for the 2026–2027 season:

• Home & Away Game Jerseys
• Home & Away Game Socks
• North Stars Polo
• North Stars Warm-Up
• Black Helmet
• Black Gloves
